Crescent Trail Hiking Association

Crescent Trail Hiking Association – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of volunteers who help plan, develop, and maintain the Crescent Trail footpaths by fostering a public appreciation of natural open spaces in the Town of Perinton. We lead monthly free guided hikes on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 1:30pm.  Full color maps of  the Crescent Trail are available online and at the Perinton Rec Center at 1350 Turk Hill Road for $1.00.

Our Silver Foxes meet every Wed from mid-April to mid-November to maintain the trails. Trail mowers, chain saws, and weed whackers are some of the tools used by the Silver Foxes. We repair and rebuild any of the over 100 bridges and other structures on the Crescent Trail as time permits.

Our CLIPS team meet Thursday mornings from May to October at various Crescent Trail locations to clip stray branches and overgrowth, helping to maintain a clear path for hikers.

The CTHA Board meets monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month at the Perinton Rec Center at 7:00pm in Room 210.
